  • Description
3 layered, inlay trivets. Made with basswood and walnut and felt from xTool.
Made a square in XCS and inserted the Turkey image with the outline and placed it in the middle. Then added the lines. Added an outline square around it. Set the engrave settings for the Turkey and then the settings for the cut. I made 2 bottoms for the backing with basswood. Did the basswood cut first and then the walnut cut. Once cut, i glued the frame on the bottom piece and Put some glue down and inserted a row if the basswood first, then a row of the walnut, till it was filled. I did the same with the walnut piece. I cut out 2 pieces of felt, to put on the back of the bottom to protect the surface.
